But nothing prevents it from offering only 5% more than what has already been established.

Despite not including the amount of the tip in the bill, there are some bars mainly, which contain a “fooienpot”, which is what we know as a jar, to which a certain value can be added.

HOW IS TIPPING IN ENGLAND

In restaurants, where they offer table service, it is quite common for a percentage between 10 and 15 to be added to the bill.

In places where this service is not available, such as fast food, it is convenient that the “suggested”,  which indicates that the tip was not added to the bill.

In “pubs” it is likely that you will find a small box on the counters, therefore, this indicates that a small amount is expected.
